2.6 Features And Stuff

On the PHP side of things we are essentially done! The videos.php module is giving us some issues but the worst case scenario is we simply remove it and bring the feature back with a future build.

There are a few issues remaining with the default theme but we should have them pegged down by Sunday. We don't want to unveil the theme yet as we want it to be a surprise of sorts. It won't be a custom built theme by any means but rather one that we ported over to the CMS. We figured the ported theme would be better suited and show off some of the capabilities of OneCMS better than the old theme.

We are now ready to unveil the 2.6 feature set!

• Admin Panel: Contents split up into separate files, previously it was all in one file.
• Index file partially split up.
• Addition of Videos module (pending)
• Addition of Achievements module
• New and improved plugins system
• Better permalinks (Upgrading to 2.6 and want your old links to work? See the forum!)
• Various security improvements
• Ability to add images to Content posts.
• Better comments system
• Better SEO System
• Gallery manager now accepts all filetypes
• User registration more indepth
• Removed PR Email manger feature since it was asking for trouble with PR contacts!
• Improved PR feature
• Ability to paginate regular posts using
