Q: What is OneCMS?

A: OneCMS is a content management system suitable for webmasters. While it is popular among gaming webmasters, it can easily be adapted to work with just about any site with relative ease. You can use it to create a simple blog or a website with a fully functional database.

Q: Is OneCMS free to use?

A: Yes, OneCMS is released under the GNU General Public License.

Q: I want to use OneCMS as the foundation for my site but develop it myself for personal use, am I allowed to do this?

A: Yes, keep in mind however that the OneCMS team will be unable to answer support related questions for heavily customized installations of OneCMS.

Q: I'm having trouble running OneCMS on my localhost installation, what gives?

A: If you are experiencing issues running OneCMS on a localhost server, we recommend you turn off the mod_rewrite feature in the admin panel, you might have to rename your .htaccess file to php.ini as well.

Q: Any plans on recoding OneCMS in OOP?

A: Good question, it's actually something we've discussed at length. In the end, there are no plans to code OneCMS in OOP.

Q: I want to use OneCMS for a non gaming site, how can I remove "Systems" and "Games" from the Content area?

A: Simply delete "Systems" and "Games" from the Custom Fields area of the admin panel.
